Do you consider yourself well organized with strong time management skills? If you answered yes, this might be the career for you Heritage Office Furnishings is looking for a part time Collections Clerk to work half days, either remotely or in the office to support the growth and operation of our organization by managing invoices and maintaining important financial documentation.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Monitor outstanding customer balances to identify delayed payments, nonpayments, and other irregularities
  • Documenting daily collection activity
  • Researching account disputes and billing discrepancies
  • Inquire with customers about account balances and payment status
  • Maintain accurate records of collection history and customer details
  • Produce statements of accounts and other documents as needed
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable Specialists and other staff to ensure accurate & timely invoicing, payment posting, and identify necessary adjustments
  • Inform management of difficult issues arising during the collection process, including any potential writeoffs
  • Obtain copies of credit memos as required from vendors
  • Ad hoc tasks on an asneeded basis

Required Qualifications:


  • Collections expertise
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to work independently
  • Must be able to report to the office as needed. Training to occur onsite
  • Hours of work: 5 hours per day between the hours of 8 am and 5 pm
