Location Olympique is a family-owned company founded in 1964 and has been proudly serving the restaurant industry in and around Montreal for 60 years.
The Route Service Representative (RSR) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the processes related to route planning, scheduling, optimization, and execution within an organization.
This position will also be responsible for developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and coach all members of your team to ensure that they are achieving and maintaining performance KPI's set out by the Company in line with business and area targets.
- Manage daily route settlement requirements by the
RSR:
ensure accurate product quantities, accurate invoicing, and accurate inventory counts.
- Recruit, interview, hire and train new RSR.
- Conduct monthly one on one with your RSR.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters.
- Respond to clients' inquiries with complaints and questions, give customers information about products and services, take orders, and process returns.
- Establish and maintain strong client relations to effectively communicate sales solutions and improve customer satisfaction.
- Keeping records in our customer service software; of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
- Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients.
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement.
- Negotiate service agreement extensions.
- Handle client retention files when needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of customer service experience
- Proven team management or other relevant experience
- Ability to maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times
- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks
- Critical thinking and problemsolving skills
- Keen attention to detail and adherence to deadlines
- Experience working with Microsoft Office software (particularly MS Excel)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual French and English
