Position description:
In this role, you will provide support to the executive team, be responsible for office management, and complete some administrative accounting
Responsibilities:
Executive Assistant to the CEO and Board of Governors (40% of role)
- Coordinate and organize all meetings for the CEO internal and external
- Set up and prepare all the materials for Board and committee meetings
- Plan and organize the Annual General Meeting and other events
- Act as recording secretary at all the Board and some committee meetings
Administrative Accounting (30% of role)
- Enter deposits into the accounting software system
- Complete accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Organize and file paperwork for projects and accounts
Office Management (30% of role)
- Create and maintain a calendar of upkeep required for office
- Order all office supplies from vendors
- Arrange and manage courier and mail service
- Maintain the health and safety program for the organization
Other
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by identifying growth needs and engaging in educational opportunities as available and approved by management
- Contributes to a collaborative team culture by offering to help colleagues where and when needed
- Complies with all Parks Foundation policies and procedures
- Completes other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Needed
- Undergraduate degree or postsecondary certificate in a relevant field
- 5+ years of experience in administration, office management or accounting
- Strong relationship builder and collaborative by nature
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrated alignment with the mission and values of the Parks Foundation.
Work Hours
- Work hours are typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 4:00 PM or 8:30 to 4:30 PM with a 30 minute lunch break
- Projects, workload, or events may necessitate work outside these regular hours, on evenings or weekends
Compensation
- The salary range for this position $60,000$75,000 plus benefits package
- This position does not have parking available
