We have an exciting opportunity for a Fabrication Operator to join our Production team in Balzac, AB.
This is a full-time, permanent position, with an excellent benefits package, and room for growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operating CNC machines to fabricate glass.
- Operating glass edge polishing machines.
- Read basic drawings and interpret.
- Assisting operators and other workers.
- Cross training/helping in other departments.
- Clean machines and surrounding work areas.
- Sort and package materials.
- Using push pull cranes and powered pallet jacks.
- Identify damaged products.
- Following a detailed schedule of workflow.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
- Experience with setting up and operating Edgers/CNC machines is an asset.
- Experience with overhead crane with suction cups considered an asset.
- Ability to stand and lift up to 50 pounds.
