About the Role

Here are the three primary components of the Sales Development Representative role:


  • Outperform Outbound Call Expectations: As a Sales Development Representative at SaaS Academy, you will be responsible for consistently making a high volume of outbound calls to potential clients to identify and qualify new leads.
    This position involves working with warm leads in our CRM. The role requires a self-starter with a proven track record of success in outbound sales and the ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Collaborate in a high-performing Sales Team:As a vital member of our team, you will contribute to driving the growth of our business, resulting in an increase in both the close rate and sales velocity. This includes engaging in 1:1 and team meetings, sharing successful strategies and tactics, attending coaching sessions with a growth mindset, and collaborating cross-functionally with other departments (Customer Success, Support, Marketing).

Outperform Outbound Call Expectations:Within two weeks, you will be able to consistently exceed 100 outbound dials per day. You will have a strong phone presence and understand the importance of being efficient with your prospective client's time. This allows you to quickly identify their pain points and determine within a short period if they are a good fit for one of our programs.

Source Qualified Growth Sessions: Within one month, you will set a minimum of 10 Growth Sessions with the ongoing expectation of setting three per day by month two. By carefully identifying and qualifying leads, you will ensure that only the highest potential leads reach our account executives, resulting in increased revenue outcomes. Additionally, you will demonstrate proficiency and accuracy with your reporting sales pipeline data in HubSpot.

Collaborate in a high-performing Sales Team:As
our next high-achieving SDR, you will consistently display a growth mindset, actively seeking feedback to improve your performance. You will engage and collaborate with all members of the Sales Team and understand the impact your performance has on SaaS Academy reaching its ambitious growth goals.


Experience and Qualifications

Required:

  • 6+ months of inbound/outbound B2B sales development experience
  • 6+ months of experience with highvolume cold calling (100+ dials per day)
  • Applicants who live in the US or Canada
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency and competence working out of a CRM

Preferred:

  • Experience in a startup/SaaS company
  • Experience working with a team across multiple disciplines
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Experience with our tech stack: HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom, Asana, Google Workspace, Aircall, Gong
