Requirements

This is a "hands-on" maintenance position

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Communicate effectively in English (verbally and written). French speaking is an asset

Excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail

Experience in using Microsoft Office

Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and within a team.

Duties and responsibilities include

:

-
Routine tasks include preparing suites for move-ins, relocating model suite furniture, troubleshooting building system issues, maintaining building esthetics, completion of in-suite tasks, etc

:

-
Develop and implement a regular preventative maintenance program for the heating, ventilation, mechanical equipment, home interior, and exterior grounds

:

-
Follow the departments policy and procedure manual

:

-
Work collaboratively as a member of the management team through sharing of expertise and knowledge

:

-
Research, recommend, and manage contract services in pest control, waste management, recycling, window cleaning, outside grounds maintenance, snow removal, grass cutting and landscaping

:

Manage relationships with suppliers and contractors

:

-
Participate on Health and Safety Committee

:

-
Monitor expenses to maintain departmental budget

:

-
Ensure all resident concerns are dealt with in a timely manner

:

-
Working knowledge and expertise in HVAC, building systems and equipment

:

-
Familiar with requirements and guidelines pertaining to Fire Code, Health & Safety, WHMIS, etc

Plan and oversee repair and installation activities

:

-
Conduct walk throughs to inspect facility and identify and resolve issues

:

-
Maintain maintenance logs.

Pay:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 80 per week
