Administrative Officer


Responsibilities:


  • Provide overall leadership and direction to the school, ensuring that educational goals and objectives are met.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to enhance the effectiveness of the school.
  • Manage the administrative and support staff, providing guidance, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
  • Collaborate with teachers and academic staff to develop and implement curriculum plans and educational programs that align with educational standards and goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of instructional practices and curriculum delivery methods.
  • Stay up to date with educational trends, research, and best practices to enhance teaching and learning within the school.
  • Oversee student enrollment, admissions, and registration processes.
  • Address student behavior and disciplinary issues, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other support staff to provide appropriate interventions and support for students' academic and personal development.
  • Develop and manage the school's budget, allocating resources effectively to support educational programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure the efficient utilization of school facilities, equipment, and materials.
  • Identify funding opportunities, grants, or partnerships to supplement the school's budget and enhance educational resources.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant educational laws, regulations, and policies at the local, state, and national levels.
  • Develop and maintain school policies and procedures, communicating them to staff, students.
Address legal and ethical issues, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
$16.67-$30.86 per hour
