What you'll get to do:


Recycle Program Management:

  • Initial program setup, optimization, coordination
  • Plan, schedule, and direct the acceptance and processing of quality recycle aggregates
  • Optimize quality and production of recycled materials as to maximize higher value and marketable materials.
  • Midterm and longterm planning, i.e. CAPEX

Asphalt:

  • Coordinate and direct production activities within the asphalt plant
- day to day operation
- training

  • Coordinate with Fixed Plant Maintenance Foreman on maintenance and repair activities
  • Create, manage, maintain priority planning for asphalt plant (immediate to 3 years)
  • Complete training as directed.

Customer Service:

  • Manage, optimize weighmaster personnel in conjunction with area depot network
  • Understand production and sales data, trends, plans
  • Liaise with Logistics and Sales groups

Inventory:

  • Monitor and maintain data: production, sales, inventory
  • Complete month end inventory reporting
  • Certified drone pilot
  • Complete drone surveys for inventory, mining, site development purposes, monthly and as needed

Quality:

  • Optimize plant processes
  • Coordinate with quality / lab technician personnel
  • Coordinate with production with respect to daily test results
  • Coordinate with Production
  • Become ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • ASQ Certification for Engineers

Administration:

  • Directs basic site administration, using weighmasters as resources
  • Safety orientations
  • Safety training
  • Digital signs
  • Fuel tracking and management

Other:

  • Shift Boss
  • Actively engage and improve processes with IT tools, i.e. Office Excel, Lists, Power Automate, Power Apps, Teams, SharePoint
  • Complete compliance reports, i.e. environmental
  • Must be able to travel to the U.S.A.

Essential Skills:


  • Possess a degree in mechanical or mining engineering, mechanical or electrical trade's certificate or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years in aggregate/mining production or in heavy industry
  • Have a track record of successful leadership with the ability to plan and manage effectively in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, ability to make decisions quickly and proven problemsolving skills to find creative and practical solutions
  • Knowledge of safety and mining codes and regulations
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and Total Quality principles
  • Possess or obtain a Shift Boss Certificate and First Aid Level 1 ticket

Work Environment:


  • Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels
