    Overview


    The Human Resources Business Partner-NA, serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders and as the primary point of contact for people related matters within the region. The HRBP partners closely with leaders to understand business needs and acts as a liaison between the business and HR service delivery functions, ensuring that organizational priorities are effectively supported by HR capabilities.

    The HRBP plays a key role in implementing HR initiatives, supporting workforce planning and talent acquisition efforts, and providing insights to enhance the employee experience and enable business outcomes. This includes support across performance management, compensation, training and development, and employee relations. In addition to core HR responsibilities, the role collaborates on enterprise initiatives such as ATS implementation, job architecture, onboarding improvements, employer branding, and policy development, working in partnership with HR Ops.

    The HRBP ensures compliance with applicable Canadian employment laws and regulations and applies, administers, and interprets workplace policies and guidelines in alignment with the organization's operating model and business objectives. The role primarily supports the Canadian employee population, with secondary support for a defined group of US employees.

    • Serve as the primary HR partner for leaders across the Canadian region, with primary responsibility for the Canadian employee population and secondary support for a defined group of US employees
    • Lead and execute talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning support, full-cycle recruiting, and close partnership with hiring managers
    • Manage end-to-end recruiting activities, including role intake, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support, in alignment with approved guidelines and budgets
    • Contribute to select strategic and executive-sponsored initiatives, including workforce transitions, organizational changes, and M&A integration support
    • Provide core HR business partnership support, including employee relations, performance management, onboarding and offboarding, employee lifecycle matters, and day-to-day manager coaching
    • Apply, administer, and interpret global HR policies and programs in compliance with Canadian employment laws and regulatory requirements, ensuring consistent and compliant HR practices across the region
    • Support and contribute to enterprise-wide HR initiatives and projects, including HCM implementation activities, job architecture, pay transparency, compliance initiatives, employer branding, process improvements, and policy development, in partnership with HR Ops team.

    Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent progressive experience

    • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a corporate or multi-entity environment

    • Preference for fluency in English and French, including the ability to read, write, and communicate professionally in French

    • Understanding of, and experience with, most or all of the core aspects of Human Resource Management (talent management, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, leadership development, and training).

    • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end recruiting and talent acquisition efforts, including full-cycle recruiting and hiring manager partnership.

    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence peers and business partners at all levels.

    • Must possess a consultative style and approach with a proven ability to develop credible relationships with business partners.

    • Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present their point of view in varied business situations.

    • Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution.
