    Description

    Position Available in True Media Offices in Toronto, ON or Calgary, AB; Hybrid Work Schedule: In-Office/Remote.

    The Paid Social Media Specialist is in charge of managing and optimizing social campaigns on various platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and emerging social networks. They are expected to apply a data-driven approach, constantly testing targeting strategies, and utilizing cutting-edge technology from selected marketing developers.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Monitor and optimize campaign performance on all paid social platforms.
    • Regularly review campaign status and performance with the Paid Social Manager.
    • Create tailored reports for clients covering all campaigns and platforms.
    • Offer insights, social media expertise, and research for new business initiatives.
    • Develop strategies and viewpoints for assigned accounts.
    • Implement new technology platforms in collaboration with the Paid Social Manager.

    Qualifications: To excel in this role, candidates should:

    • Have at least one year of relevant experience, ideally in an agency setting, managing digital campaigns and social advertising.
    • Demonstrate a proactive approach to continuous learning in digital marketing.
    • Possess experience with social media marketing on various platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube.
    • Be familiar with tracking pixels implementation.
    • Have experience in both direct-response and brand marketing.
    • Display problem-solving skills and creativity in addressing challenges.
    • Work effectively in a team environment, juggling multiple projects and deadlines.

    Education

    • Preferably hold a College Certificate with a focus on advertising, marketing, or communications; alternatively, possess two to four years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
