As a

Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for Account management in the Eastern Canada Region for the Mining product group selling Bradken Mineral Processing parts to the mining industry, managing existing business, and prospecting the client base seeking new business opportunities.


You have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and will undertake regular visits to customers to develop new opportunities and focus on always achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction.


You are capable of getting involved and attend mill relines in line with the concentrator maintenance schedules to carry out product/solution performance monitoring and inventory assessment.


You will develop a customer engagement plan for each client within your region and continue to identify opportunities to improve and grow the business both organically and through adjacent products.


You will collaborate and work closely with Sales Coordinators to manage priorities through foundry orders and advise senior management of anticipated changes in customer needs, competitor activities, or market direction and assist in defining the future needs of these markets.


Overall, you will work with other business units to develop sales opportunities and play an active role in developing market opportunities through prospecting new customers, products, and technical development.


Key Technical Criteria and Experience

  • Must be fluent in English and French
    (required):
  • Technical trade background or tertiary qualification in Engineering is desirable with additional emphasis on sales management and marketing
  • Demonstrated experience in technical sales in the mining sector
  • Proven sales abilities incorporating market techniques, implementing strategic initiatives, operating plans, and budgets
  • Demonstrated related experience in mineral processing [incl. grinding/crushing], or associated markets.
  • Concentrator plant operational/maintenance experience highly desirable
  • Ability to travel
