    The Supervisor, Operations (Parks Infrastructure and Amenities) supervises work related to playgrounds, trails, outdoor furniture, barriers, signs, foot bridges, graffiti removal program as well as Parks winter maintenance program.

    Responsibility for interviewing and selection, orientation and training, direction and guidance, and performance management.

    Oversees and monitors regular unit activities including reviewing and authorizing time and pay records, tracking expenditures, monitoring relevant budgets, and ensuring accurate reporting to CityWorks as required for activities that are planned daily or weekly.

    Ensures maintenance of the City's playgrounds, trails, outdoor furniture, parks & trails barrier signs and pedestrian bridges, in accordance with standards established by the City and relevant legislation.

    Responds to complaints on public property including the work required to remove the graffiti. Complete record keeping and sharing of these records with the Waterloo Regional Police and the Kitchener Downtown Business Association.

    Supervises staff and resources responsible for the salting, sanding, and plowing of City facility parking lots, sidewalks, trails and supports snow loading.

    Valid MTO G class driver's license in good standing.
    ~ Knowledge of CAN/CSA standard Z Children's play spaces and equipment).
    ~ Knowledge of planning and overseeing Parks winter maintenance programs including routes, scheduling and weather monitoring. Manage resources and deliver projects on budget and on time.
