As a Photo Retoucher for Sonder, you'll be responsible for editing digital assets for our global portfolio and ensuring photographs are ready for online visual merchandising.

This is an amazing opportunity for someone with a photography and/or creative background interested in breaking into tech and production work.

We are building our global Photo Operations team and there will be great development opportunities on the horizon

AT SONDER YOU WILL:

Edit interior and exterior unit photography under the direction of the Sr Creative Producer
Demonstrate working knowledge of standard and advanced editing techniques used for interior photography including advanced blending of exposures
Review photography from photoshoots and evaluate assets for adherence to Sonder's technical and aesthetic requirements
Provide partners with objective, technical feedback, and reject images that do not meet brand standards
Conduct quality control on listing photography and recommend reshoots, as needed
Coordinate with contract photographers, creative agencies, and other partners to obtain assets as specified
Ensure visual consistency of images within projects and across listing platforms
Collaborate with crossfunctional partners, including Marketing and Distribution, to prepare and select images for online visual merchandising and marketing campaigns
Maintain image metadata to ensure required information is preserved while following procedures for naming, saving, and storing images
Maintain production of a high volume of images under tight deadlines
Upload and organize assets within our DAM while following procedures for naming, saving, and archiving images
Complete oneoff editing requests from crossfunctional partners with varying degrees of difficulty
Establish and maintain an efficient workflow with the ability to follow a defined process accurately and consistently

WHAT WE LOOK FOR:

Bachelor's degree in photography, marketing, or related experience
Minimum 2 years of postgrad professional experience in related field
Intimate knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite; strong Photoshop and Lightroom skills required as well as familiarity with other photo editing software such as Capture One
Working knowledge of all photographic formats and processing skills, including RAW image files
Strong understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department
A robust retouching portfolio that demonstrates consistency and proficiency in retouching, compositing, and color correcting
Knowledge of the latest photography equipment and trends to constantly improve efficiency and image quality
Experience working with digital asset management tools
Knowledge of latest editing techniques and best practices
Experience editing interiors and lifestyle photography for ecommerce preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of photography equipment and technical standards
You're super organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
