Your contribution
Your day-to-day
- Oversee and control the complete accounting cycle for multiple largescale projects, both existing and new, as well as corporate entities;
- Review and approve journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, perform bank reconciliations, sales tax remittances, revenue billing, followup on prepaid expenses and accrued expenses payable, etc.;
- Ensure reconciliation of intercompany transactions;
- Review financial analyses;
- Optimize the various closing processes;
- Review annual audit files;
- Supervise and control monthly, quarterly and annual statutory financial statements;
- Participate in various special projects;
- Ensure compliance with the internal controls that are in place;
- Supervise, mobilize and coordinate a team.
Your skills, our requirements
- University degree in accounting;
- Hold a CPA designation;
- Minimum of 5 years in personnel supervision;
- Experience with a listed company;
- Knowledge of IFRS;
- Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis. Spanish an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel);
- Excellent software skills in general (Great Plains, OneStream, Oracle, SAP);
- Influential leadership and organizational skills;
- Excellent ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines;
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive;
- Adaptability to change within a growing company;
- Strong teamwork and communication skills;
- Excellent analytical skills and autonomy.
Additional considerations
- The position is based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
- This position is an M2 level.
