Your contribution

Your day-to-day

  • Oversee and control the complete accounting cycle for multiple largescale projects, both existing and new, as well as corporate entities;
  • Review and approve journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, perform bank reconciliations, sales tax remittances, revenue billing, followup on prepaid expenses and accrued expenses payable, etc.;
  • Ensure reconciliation of intercompany transactions;
  • Review financial analyses;
  • Optimize the various closing processes;
  • Review annual audit files;
  • Supervise and control monthly, quarterly and annual statutory financial statements;
  • Participate in various special projects;
  • Ensure compliance with the internal controls that are in place;
  • Supervise, mobilize and coordinate a team.

Your skills, our requirements

  • University degree in accounting;
  • Hold a CPA designation;
  • Minimum of 5 years in personnel supervision;
  • Experience with a listed company;
  • Knowledge of IFRS;
  • Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Québec on a regular basis. Spanish an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel);
  • Excellent software skills in general (Great Plains, OneStream, Oracle, SAP);
  • Influential leadership and organizational skills;
  • Excellent ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines;
  • Ability to take initiative and be proactive;
  • Adaptability to change within a growing company;
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills;
  • Excellent analytical skills and autonomy.

Additional considerations

  • The position is based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters, steps away from the Longueuil-Université de Sherbrooke metro station.
  • This position is an M2 level.
