- Closely monitor all crushing and screening-related equipment when in operation
- Able to use a hammer and heavy-duty wrenches
- Ability to shovel approximately 8" to dust-sized rock when required
- Some lifting may be required for maintenance or cleanup purposes (less than 50kg)
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders up to heights of approximately 60 feet
- Any other duties as required.
- Knowledge of crushing related equipment is not hard however is an asset
- Strong mechanical aptitude is beneficial
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
- Minimum Class 5 driver's license
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors
- Working safely is a condition of employment

Dexter Construction is a large, diversified Construction Company engaged in all major aspects of the heavy civil construction industry within the Atlantic Provinces. We are currently seeking Loader Operators to join our operations based out of Fredericton, NB. This position will be based out of Fredericton but may involve travel to other parts of the province as the need arises.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Working Conditions:
The Loader Operator role may include physically strenuous activities. The Loader Operator will be lifting, pulling, and managing heavy equipment and objects. The Loader Operator will require the use of PPE, Hardhat, Steel Toe Boots, and reflective vest to minimize risk on the worksite. The worksite environment for this position is outside in varying weather conditions.
