Job Description:

Contracts Manager, you will work closely with senior team members managing vendors, subcontractors, and insurance brokers, and reviewing all our commercial contracts. You will play a key role in ensuring that our supply chain management processes are robust to meet the demands of the company, and our Quality and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities


Specifically, your responsibilities will include:


  • Review client contracts, change orders, Purchase Orders, and letters of reliance
  • Review leases (office, equipment), vendor contracts, subcontractor agreements
  • Compliance with contract terms and conditions
  • Resolve billing/invoicing, insurance and financial reporting issues escalating to the Accounting department if needed
  • Assist in development of our Deltek ERP software
  • Work with SLR's insurance broker to obtain insurance certificates and support the annual insurance renewals
  • Complete credit checking of clients
  • Review process documents and for business risk
  • Create and maintain accurate client file information
  • Develop, implement, and support SLR's supply chain management processes
  • Taking a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in a contract management role with experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including NDAs, service contracts, terms of RFPs, and subconsultant contracts
  • Law degree and experience practicing contract law
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel
  • LOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, formulas
  • Experience in Deltek Vantagepoint, or other ERP software is an asset
  • Experience working in the environmental services or consulting sector is an asset
  • Detailoriented and able to work well independently
