Job Description:
- As our new
Contracts Manager, you will work closely with senior team members managing vendors, subcontractors, and insurance brokers, and reviewing all our commercial contracts. You will play a key role in ensuring that our supply chain management processes are robust to meet the demands of the company, and our Quality and ISO standards.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Review client contracts, change orders, Purchase Orders, and letters of reliance
- Review leases (office, equipment), vendor contracts, subcontractor agreements
- Compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Resolve billing/invoicing, insurance and financial reporting issues escalating to the Accounting department if needed
- Assist in development of our Deltek ERP software
- Work with SLR's insurance broker to obtain insurance certificates and support the annual insurance renewals
- Complete credit checking of clients
- Review process documents and for business risk
- Create and maintain accurate client file information
- Develop, implement, and support SLR's supply chain management processes
- Taking a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise

Qualifications
- 10+ years in a contract management role with experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts, including NDAs, service contracts, terms of RFPs, and subconsultant contracts
- Law degree and experience practicing contract law
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, especially in Excel
- LOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, formulas
- Experience in Deltek Vantagepoint, or other ERP software is an asset
- Experience working in the environmental services or consulting sector is an asset
- Detailoriented and able to work well independently
