Description

This is a regular part-time support staff Bargaining Unit position reporting to the Associate VP, Student Success, working 24 hours per week at an hourly rate of $24.34.


Specific Accountabilities:


  • Leads and oversees tutors working in the lab environment
  • Assist Tutoring Services Specialist with planning and organizing lab sessions, new tutor training, and lab tutor scheduling
  • Maintain communication with faculty to keep uptodate on program/course expectations
  • Maintain flow of communication with the Tutoring Services Specialist to recommend new initiatives and advise of any issues/concerns that arise in the lab environment
  • Curates and creates resources to support PRAC, PSW, and BScN student

Qualifications:


  • 3year or 4year postsecondary University degree or greater in Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Preferred up to 1 year experience in a tutorial or other workrelated setting
