We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Banquet Manager to join our team.
As a Banquet Manager, you will lead a team of servers and communicate effectively to kitchen staff ensuring each event runs smoothly and on time.
The Banquet Manager is also responsible for personally assisting our VIP clients to meet their needs.On event days the Manager is the point of contact for staff and clients, you must be able to manage many personalities, deadlines, time sensitive requests, and overall quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Manage staff time sheets, communicate effectively with all serving staff.
- Set up floor plans
- Serve guests
- Communicate with guests, venders, and all staff to perform each event efficiently
- Create and manage detailed staff reports
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on service standards, customer interactions, and operational procedures.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing ongoing support and guidance to staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or a related field. (bonus, not required)
- Proven experience working in the hospitality industry, preferably in management roles such as front office, guest services, or operations.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality service standards, best practices, and industry trends. (bonus, not required)
- Excellent observational and analytical skills, with an eye for detail and the ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver constructive feedback and recommendations.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple assessments and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using assessment tools and software. Google Calendar, Outlook mail, Google Drive. Must be willing to learn on site system.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred:
- Experience working with diverse hospitality establishments, including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and event venues.
- Knowledge of local and international hospitality regulations and standards.

Salary:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour
