    Industrial Mechanical Design EngineerDorval or Saint Laurent100% on site

    Salary: 70-110K based on machinery design experienceIndustry: industrial machineryFull time permanent roleClients: USA/CanadaWork mostly in English with clientsExtended health careLife insurance100% on siteInterview process: 2 interviews + 1 design test


    Key Responsibilities :
    Develop innovative designs for new machinery.
    Capable of creating mechanical designs for complete systemsAble to design in 2D and 3D designMust be proficient with designing machine structures, sheet metal panels, including automation and roboticsFabrication of open drawings for sheet metal bendingDocumentation and R&D write-upsGenerate Bill of Materials for Assemblies


    Requierements :


    DEC Mechanical Engineering Technology or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineeringStrong mathematical skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeCreativity in solving problemsVery strong CAD 2D and 3D design skills.

    Basic understanding of electronics and electrical wiring diagramsCandidate must have a minimum of 6 years' experience in machinery mechanical designKnowledge of PLC programming is preferred (for Dorval role)Strong knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Nastran preferred (for St Laurent role)Only open to Canadian residents
