    Reporting to the HR Business Partner, the Organizational Design Specialist supports large scale transformational programs, developing organizational design strategies, principles and rules for the creation of new structures, jobs, career streams as well as changes to current organizational structures.

    This role is a 6 month contract.

    What you'll do:

    • Work with senior leadership to architect future-proof, agile, and resilient organization and operating models which embraces the future state contact centre shared services vision.
    • Partner with senior level leadership to co-create organizational design alternatives, test them against design criteria, and align leadership groups around design selection and implementation
    • Design and maintain the matrix of all jobs the Contact Centre, evaluates spans, consistency of job descriptions and grades with internal policies and procedures
    • Design and maintain the rules for the organizational structure creation
    • Design and maintain the rules for the span of control within business unit
    • Model resource and skill requirements through capacity planning using time distribution or activity analysis tools
    • Examine job roles, tasks, and duties through analysis
    • Develops new job descriptions and checks the consistency of job descriptions with internal policies and procedures
    • Facilitate the process of the new job position creation (as required)
    • Support stakeholders with clarifying role RACI, systems and job responsibilities.
    • Partner with HR functions to support and respond to questions of job evaluation committee
    • Contribute to org design practice and capability enhancement, through educating on frameworks and research"
    • Own data validation, analysis, management, and visualization leveraging people data from our various source systems and using Excel, Tableau, Oracle
    • Partner with business and HRBP to design new learning and career paths through linking organizational design and competencies
    • Works with leaders/leaders/partnering functions in the development of functional strategy and planning (12-month horizon) by providing insights and raising issues
    • Applies broader business metrics, leverages cost-benefit analyses when designing and implementing new programs, services and other initiatives.
    • Develop reporting of key information to inform decision making.
    • Interpret reporting to create summaries, draw conclusions and make recommendations to leadership.

    What you'll bring:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
    • A minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience in progressive organizational design roles with emphasis on ensuring proper structures to support business requirements in insurances or financial services
    • Strong track record in organizational design interventions from diagnosis to implementation e.g. operating model design, workforce strategy, detailed design, org design analytics,
    • Demonstrated success in project management;
    • Demonstrated excellence in process facilitation; Highly developed analytical and design thinking skills
    • Ability to quickly build credibility
    • Deep knowledge of organizational design concepts and principles.
    • Related professional designation Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL).
    • Comprehensive knowledge, understanding and expertise in the application of organizational design methodologies, principles, processes, and tools
    • Organization design training, certification, coursework etc. is an asset
    • Describes complex situations or information in terms that others can readily understand
    • Remains focused on the "big picture" when addressing the details of a specific situation
    • Ability to coordinate with and work across business units while driving shared services priorities and goals.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities to address customer issues and provide suitable solutions
    • Ability to think critically and adapt to changing situations while maintaining composure
