We are sadly losing our nanny as she has found a full time job. We are hopeful to have someone that can start within a couple weeks, and are interviewing a few nannies to find the right fit for our family. We are offering $20/hour.My husband and I have 4 kids; two girls ages 3 & 5, and two boys ages 2 and 1. My husband is a shift worker, and I work a flexible role from home. We are looking for a part time nanny, 2-3 days a week around the hours of 8-9 a.m. start time to 4 p.m. Because of our flexible schedules there will almost always be someone home, often I'll be working and my husband tackling house projects or catching up sleep after a night shift. But during nap time or when you are confident and comfortable we might sneak out for a short errand or 2.
We really want someone to support us that is comfortable with young kids, including a 1 year old and toddlers. Our youngest is in diapers, and 2 year old is currently being potty trained, and our oldest goes to Kindergarten every day, from 8:30-11:.... (either my husband or I drive/pick her up). The two youngest nap every day from 1:30-4ish, so you would not be having all 4 kids all day as they are on different schedules. Our kids are vibrant and full of personality and generally get along really well. Our previous nanny was strong with playing with the kids, having screen free time, doing laundry and getting them lunches, as well as tidying around the house. As the afternoons are quiet she would often vacuum or mop or do an activity with our girls.
We want someone that is very comfortable with housekeeping as well - there are some days that the housekeeping will be more of a focus (laundry, sweeping, mopping, etc) if we are taking the kids out for certain activities. We need someone that is confident and ok with nanny and housekeeping responsibilities.
We really want someone that is open to supporting us for 2-3 days for the long term. As our kids just got adjusted to our previous nanny it is important that they aren't having a constant turnover in their childcare and someone consistent that can be a part of their lives and grow with our family. This is a must have for us.
We do require someone that can drive or has reliable transportation to and from our house.
