Project Manager Lead, PPSS


Salary:
$84,250 - $99,117 - $113,985 per year (pay range explained below)


Contract: 1 Year Term


Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Location: 100 Park Royal S, West Vancouver (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA's flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after October 2024.


About the role

The PPSS Project Management Lead role is an exciting opportunity to support new initiatives at FNHA with diverse teams across the organization This role works with the VP, PPSS and leadership and project teams to support multiple project initiatives within the PPSS portfolio to ensure the successful delivery of projects throughout the entire project lifecycle.

This includes planning, executing, monitoring and controlling to ensure all assigned project initiatives meet budget, schedule, quality and business objectives.

This role collaborates with teams across FNHA to define project scope and objectives, identifies required skills and resources for project team, develops detailed work plans, and provides weekly project status reports.

Anticipates and identifies project issues and risks, recommends solutions, and works with VP, PPSS and leadership and project teams to implement solutions.

Travel will be required in this role approximately 2-3 times per month.


About you
To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent (PMP designation and / or working towards PMP is an asset)
  • Minimum 5 years direct Project Management experience in managing large scale and complex Information Technology projects
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team player, including taking direction as required, working well with managers, leading, organizing and supporting a team
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) including Project and Visio
  • Wellversed in the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK)
  • Advanced working knowledge of SharePoint
  • Understanding of First Nations cultural traditions, practices and protocols

You may have experience in;

  • Experience with Health Informatics projects is an asset

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.

Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.


The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.
