Norcan is a complete hydraulic service and sales company established in 1974 and is now 8 branches throughout western Canada.


We service customers in a variety of industries:
Marine, Forestry, Mining, Material Handling, Original Equipment Manufacturing, Agriculture, and Production facilities.

We are in a growing industry with a diverse set of skills and abilities that are critical in the operation of industrial and mobile equipment throughout the country.

We are currently recruiting a Service Coordinator/Hydraulic Technical Assistant for our Leduc branch. This is a significant opportunity for the right person.

Position Responsibilities
Work with Sales and Service departments to provide service coordination and hydraulic technical assistance for:

  • Service shop component repairs and projects
  • Specific customer projects
  • Component sourcing based on system requirements
  • Electrohydraulic control systems
  • Hydraulic and electric schematics
  • Perform component failure analyses and recommend corrective measures
  • Perform fluid analyses and recommend corrective measures
  • Troubleshoot system failures / underperformances
  • Provide technical support for inside and outside sales force
  • Project coordination from inception to completion for large and small projects
  • Customer interactions and promote our business
  • Preparing service/project quotes and following up with customers
  • Pricing and lead time requests from vendors

Qualifications and Experience:


  • CET qualification required or specific technical hydraulics experience
  • 35 years of specific hydraulics experience is preferred
  • Knowledge of mining, forestry, agricultural and oil and gas industries is beneficial
  • Valid drivers' license
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modelling
