Your role
This is a hybrid role.
The Management Accounting Department is looking for an Accounting Officer.
Your role consists primarily of analyzing and reconciling financial data (actual and budgeted) in order to assess the financial situation, participate in forecasting as well as support decision-making and budget planning.
We currently have one (1) permanent role to fill in the Production department, Finance team in Montreal, at CBC/Radio-Canada.In this dynamic role, you will also have the chance to participate in establishing the various strategic and financial plans that will allow the company to continue to play its essential role as a national broadcaster despite all the changes in technologies and in consumer behavior, such as the gradual transfer to digital platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in administration (accounting or finance option) and at least one (1) year of experience in a related position or performing related duties.
- Or DEC in Administration and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Or seven (7) years' experience performing related duties.
Skills:
- Proficiency with Excel.
- Good knowledge of SAP (an asset).
- Advanced oral and writing proficiency in French.
- English (an asset).
- Able to manage multiple priorities.
- Able to work effectively on a team.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
- Theory tests Excel.
- Interview.
