Job Summary:


Qualifications:

A Certificate of Qualification and/or Inter-Provincial Red Seal Certificate in Welding.

Five years' experience working in industry.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both individual and group situations.

Preference will be given to applicants with recent trade experience and proven teaching and/or supervisory experience.

Provincial (BC) Instructor Diploma will be considered an asset.

Previous experience working with individuals or groups who are underrepresented in the skilled trades will be considered an asset.


In this position, you will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues.

Applicants should have a demonstrated ability to teach and support the diverse student population served by UFV. Experience in developing and delivering educational programming to both Indigenous and international populations is an asset.
