- Possess a thorough understanding of Federal and Ontario environmental statutes and regulations.
- Work seamlessly with management personnel, colleagues, and support teams at facilities and labs, emphasizing collaborative efforts.
- Demonstrate organizational and project management expertise.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, such as Access, Excel, data handling, and project management software.
- Showcase extensive expertise with over 15 years of hands-on involvement in forestry operations.
- Prior experience working in a nuclear facility or a similar specialized setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ISO-14001 standards and their application is considered a bonus.
- Prior experience in field inspections to ensure compliance with Federal prerequisites is mandatory.
- Hold a Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), requiring a minimum of 3 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and/or the United Kingdom.
- This role entails fieldwork in varied weather conditions.

Description
Can you picture yourself leading the development and execution of a site-specific sustainable forest management strategy? Directing the implementation of the CRL Sustainable Forest Management Plan.
Engage directly with interested First Nations to grasp their requirements, feedback, and suggestions for integration into the CRL Sustainable Forest Management Plan.
Hold an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Forestry from a recognized Canadian University or possess equivalent qualifications AND be an active member of the Ontario Professional Forester Association authorized by law to set qualification standards for membership in that organization as well as a recognized Registered Professional Forester.
Fieldwork includes traversing long distances in forested areas and spending extended periods outdoors.
