    Position Overview
    We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join their team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and a keen eye for detail, with a proven ability to translate client needs into innovative and practical interior solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects from concept to completion, collaborating closely with our multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and project managers.

    Responsibilities
    • Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, requirements, and aesthetic preferences.
    • Develop design concepts and proposals that align with client objectives and project constraints.
    • Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
    • Select materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that enhance the overall design concept and meet project requirements.
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of interior elements with the overall building design.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver high-quality design solutions on schedule and within scope.
    • Conduct site visits and inspections to oversee construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
    • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously improve design quality and innovation.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in interior design, preferably with a focus on architectural projects.
    • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software.
    • Strong conceptual and design skills, with a portfolio demonstrating creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
    • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards related to interior design.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Membership in relevant professional associations (e.g., ARIDO, IDC) is an asset.
    • Eligibility for professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ) is preferred.
