Job Title:
Logistics

Location: 1480 South Service Road W, Swift Current, SK

Job purpose:

This position's primary responsibilities are ensuring customer orders are gathered, packaged a and sent/delivered accurately, efficiently and safely while maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Result Area

High accuracy and efficiency in shipping/receiving/packaging/pulling orders
Ensure orders are shipped within desired time frame
Can lead to a future leadership position

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Gather and package customer orders, and willcall orders
Stock shelves
Track shipments as needed
Process customer orders and take payments
Assist in the preparation of intercompany transfers
Crosstrain on additional Shipper duties: acquiring rates, preparing customs paperwork, etc.
Assist other departments, as required

Competencies

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and able to work in a fastpaced environment
Ability to build relationships with customer, drivers and transport companies
Selfdriven, results oriented with a positive outlook and a clear focus on efficiency
Ability to identify areas for improvement and contribute potential solutions
