Reporting to the General Manager, the Guest Services Supervisor is responsible for the complete operation of the Guest Services desk at Mayfair Shopping Centre.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:


  • All aspects of hiring, training, motivating, mentoring and leading staff effectively in order to ensure the consistent delivery of first class customer service to shoppers and our retail clients.
  • Other duties include successfully managing a high volume gift card sales program, managing cash and credit payments, maintaining equipment to acceptable standards, ordering supplies, and various forms of data management.
  • Assists Marketing team with coordination in all aspects of events, marketing campaigns, special projects and initiatives.
  • Coordinates and provides input to community relations. The Guest Services Supervisor also establishes and maintain a strong rapport with retailers.
  • The Guest Services Supervisor participates as a member of the shopping centre Administrative team and relays relevant information to his/her team as required.
  • The Guest Services Supervisor will assist with miscellaneous administrative work and will also help with event and promotional planning and execution.

Key Requirements:


  • Minimum High school diploma required;
  • 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a customer service or hospitality related industry;
  • Experience working with the public with a track record of providing exceptional customer service;
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills;
  • Conflict resolution/management skills;
  • Positive attitude and a demonstrated ability to be proactive, resourceful, approachable, adaptable, solutionfocused, and professional always;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Excellent organizational skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and work effectively in a fastpaced environment;
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office); internet savvy and social media knowledge;
  • This position is scheduled to work from Tuesday to Saturday.
  • Must be flexible and able to work weekends, nights and holidays as needed.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
