In your role, you will:

Develop, participate, maintain, and improve an industrial engineering strategy
Develop production activities sequence for assembly stations
Balance labor needs according to organizational needs, define work standards, balance and configure positions and the assembly line to accommodate different pace changes, analyze and make observations and take measures in order to determine valueadded activity ratios
Develop hour budgets based on aircraft configurations
Evaluate and propose key indicators to measure productivity of the assembly process as well as performance measurement
Identify and propose improvement projects, lead and participate in Kaizen workshops to solve problems and find solutions, while involving team members able to develop global strategies for industrial engineering
Develop work charters, anteriority diagrams, sequence of operations, performance calculation, labor needs, material flow analysis, work measurement, acceleration and decrease in rate, etc.

Qualifications

You have a technical college diploma or a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field
You demonstrate project management skills
You have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
You are very good at communication and interpersonal relations (French and English)
You have experience in a manufacturing environment, an asset
You have an ability to manage priorities and overcome setbacks
You master industrial engineering techniques as well as valueadded concepts
You are recognized as having a high level of initiative, autonomy, innovation in addition to having good practical sense
You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools including MS Project
You master diagnostic tools such as VSM, material flow analysis, capacity analysis, etc.
