Position purpose:

North Star Windows and Doors is one of the leading manufacturers of made to order, high quality vinyl window & door products.

We are a dynamic, forward-thinking company that offers growth opportunities and exceptional learning experiences, looking for an
Accounting Analyst to join our team.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the purpose of this position is to support all areas of accounting including General Ledger and Accounts Payable/Receivable.

Position:
Accounting Analyst (Full-Time; Permanent)

Primary Responsibilities

Assist with month end close activities
Completion of adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations
Reconcile daily and monthly bank transactions
Capital project spend tracking
Inventory reporting and analysis
Daily sales invoicing
Cost centre variance analysis and adhoc reporting
Supporting various cost centers during the annual budget process
Intercompany reconciliations
Support accounts payable with general ledger account coding and purchase order review

Key Attributes / Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Enrolled in CPA Program
Minimum 2 years of related professional experience
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all people across the organization
Advanced proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Exposure to Sage 300 is an asset.
Strong attention to details, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, work as a team member and independently, selfdriven, adaptable, and patient.
Ability to meet deadlines (i.e., monthend closing).
Willingness to learn and develop within the organization
