The Role:
- Collaborate with cross campus administrative staff to build a network of resources
- Participate in team and division activities to learn, share and grow
- Organize and schedule meetings, including booking rooms, minutes and catering
- Manage the input of communications plan into department's project management tool
- Manage calendars — prioritizing appointments and proactively resolving conflicts
- Make travel arrangements as required in accordance with policies and procedures
- Support the tracking and reporting of results and metrics
- Assisting with the daytoday efficient operation of the department
- Maintain and organize workspaces
- Manage coordination of accounts payable with SAIT's finance department
- Complete and submit expense claims in accordance to processes and procedures
- Acting as our Health & Safety representative, ensure a safe and healthy work environment by complying with health and safety policies and practices
- Help with institutional events from décor and guest lists to photography
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum three years (3) work experience in an administrative or related position
- Expert proficiency in the use of Microsoft programs including: Outlook, Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Experience in supporting or working in communications, media/public relations or marketing
- Banner ERP experience an asset.
Working Conditions and Equipment:
- This position will work in an open environment and may have many interruptions throughout the day.
- Primary equipment will be desktop or laptop PC, telephone, and copier

Salary range:
$55,000 - $60,000
Hours Per Week: 40
