Golden Equity Properties has been specialising in the acquisition and management of multi-unit residential properties in the Quebec and Ontario markets since 2001.

We are looking skilled and experienced Property Manager to join our growing residential buildings in Brampton.


What You Will Do

Leasing and Administration
(a) Request and obtain current and future rental vacancy information and keep the availability list (including assignments) and signs up to date in accordance with the information received from the Head Office or Leasing Manager

(b) Process appropriate paperwork for prospective tenants and show available units when the Area Manager is unable to.

(c) Good knowledge of the market rental rates

(e) Ensure delivery of all rents and other monies to Head Office.

(f) Control move-in and move-out scheduling and inspections and ensure that every tenant completes an accurate incoming and outgoing unit inspection report. Negotiate Leasing agreements, and showings.

(g) Be responsible for the security of the properties/buildings

(h) Always prepare a detailed insurance/incident report whenever any damage or accident occurs.

(i) Coordinate the process of lease documentations such as lease and co-signore agreement

(j) Administrative duties, shall include but will not be limited to, upkeep of all tenant information and work orders, schedule pest control services. Ensure apartments are ready for residents to move-in on agreed date

(k) Deliver (N4), (N5), (N9), or other forms as required from time to time for the LTB.


Maintenance and Operations
To supervise the building maintenance and the cleaning staff


Emergencies


Coordinate the response to all emergencies such as fire, flood, no heat, power failure, elevator failure, etc., and to immediately communicate such events to the Head Office.


What You Will Bring to The Role

  • Qualifications:_
  • High School diploma is required, a University Degree is an asset.
  • Previous experience in the real estate industry is required
  • Familiarity with Landlord Tenant Board is an asset.
  • Familiarity with YARDI Real estate accounting software is an asset

  • Strong Organization and multitasking skills
  • Ability to communicate accurately and effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to take directions and perform the assigned task accurately and in a timely fashion.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
