Under broad supervision, executes the continuous improvement strategy and approach by translating business objectives into actionable projects.

Engages with other departments to sustain, improve, and streamline all processes with a primary focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

Must have hands on experience and the ability to demonstrate successful deployment of the following Lean methodologies:

Value Stream Mapping
5S
Visual Management
Daily Accountability (Tiered/SQDIP) meetings
Leader Standard Work
Gemba Walks
Kaizen Events

Must have experience in coaching and training of Lean principles and tools.

Graduate of a 2-year college diploma in a manufacturing or engineering technology program preferred.

Must have 3 years minimum experience working within a manufacturing or distribution facility, with preference given to experience in metal manufacturing or distribution
