ABOUT THE ROLE


As a Sales & Education Manager, Sephora Collection, you are responsible for driving the business and achieving sales metrics, as determined by the Brand, throughout the British Columbia territory.

You'll do this through detailed analysis of your business, using education & training, thoughtfully planned in-store events, providing brand representation in store and other field-based activations.

In this role you will be reporting into the Senior Manager, Field Sales & Education, Sephora Collection.


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Develop a strategic quarterly business plan to improve sales, grow brand love, increase basket penetration and acquire new clients based on territory performance and individual store needs.
  • Implement customized instore strategies to achieve sales and brand goals in your territory through crossfunctional partnerships.
  • Analyze weekly sales reports using company supported tools and platforms to determine strategies to achieve sales goals/brand KPI's, including supervising results for all events conducted within territory. Build action plans where vital to achieve targets.
  • Be the Sephora Collection brand expert pertaining to brand essence, brand sales metrics, product knowledge, inventory, and brand merchandising.
  • Facilitate regular training to introduce, educate and encourage new Beauty Advisors, launch new product launches, and reinforce core products.
  • Integrate selling skills, services, and additional brand or company initiatives (as needed) in all brand trainings.
  • Establish and develop outstanding relationships at store level, actively mentoring and providing insights as to how to achieve goals and targets.
  • Lead positive relationship with Sephora Beauty Advisors, including onboarding new Beauty Advisors, providing mentor, development and feedback while instore.
  • Provide consistent and specific feedback on materials, training agendas, and training sessions.
  • Work with store and events teams to schedule and implement regular events across all stores in territory.
  • Meet deadlines for reporting sales, expenses, and other requests.
  • Effective management of T&E and budget.
  • Excellent communication skills and is teamoriented and comfortable working with all levels of management.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation and training skills in both live and digital formats (Zoom, video conferencing, social media).
  • Highlevel problemsolving and critical thinking skills to quickly find creative solutions for issues that may arise within their territory.
  • Plans and aligns to break down objectives into appropriate initiatives and actions to achieve critical metrics.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Minimum 3 years' experience with field sales management or comparable store leadership experience. Prior Account Executive experience is a plus.
  • Experience in beauty industry
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Great teammate and able to lead others
  • Technical skills proficiency in MS Office; merchant systems
  • Position requires driving to stores and travel up to 2530%
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have access to a car
  • Must be able to travel within North America and internationally
  • Flexibility & availability to work evenings/weekends for education, training, events, sales support and other brand activations as needed
  • Minimum 3 weekend days required in store per month (Saturday or Sunday)
  • Makeup Artistry experience and skincare knowledge a plus
  • Standing, walking, moving for a min. of 4 to 6 hours daily
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
