- Prepare tax returns (T1, T2 & T3) and related forms (T4, T5, HST, EHT & WSIB).
- Handle bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, cheque runs, and account analysis.
- Manage investment accounting bookkeeping activities such as portfolios, dividends, and capital gains.
- Assist in drafting client engagement correspondence.
- Minimum of 2 years of bookkeeping experience at an accounting firm.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel, and strong computer skills.
- Experience with QuickBooks Desktop/Online.
- Knowledge of CaseWare and TaxPrep is an advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven and high-pressure environment.
- Capable of collaborating effectively in a team setting.
