The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is the largest mental health and addiction teaching hospital in Canada, as well as one of the world's leading research centres in its field.

The Krembil Centre for Neuroinformatics (KCNI) at CAMH is harnessing the power of high-performance computing to integrate and analyze the wealth of data generated about the brain.

Our research is performed in an open science environment, with an emphasis on reproducible data-driven research and a patient-centric approach to accelerate identification and treatment of mental illness.

A focus on global collaboration is key to transforming our understanding of mental health and its treatment.

The Centre operates as an incubator for medical technologies to identify, manage and treat mental illness, while shaping policy at national and global levels.


Position Descripition

Qualifications

  • Previous experience creating websites, and utilizing novel software and apps for organizing study findings
  • Previous experience, education, and training in assisting with or conducting mental health informatics and digital mental health research and a strong understanding of health information technologies.
  • Knowledge of app evaluation frameworks.
  • Previous experience in project coordination and kickoff, research ethics, protocol development and diverse knowledge mobilization activities.
  • Previous experience in developing and publishing briefing notes, research summaries, abstracts, and academic protocols/papers.
  • Prior research or service experience with individuals and/or families with mental health and/or addictions is necessary.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, reference management software's (Mendeley, EndNote & Covidence), Airtable, Genialy and database software packages is essential.
  • Ability to liaise across an interprofessional both internal and external to CAMH
  • Excellent interpersonal skills along with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members and liaise with study investigators

This full-time, contract (12 months) position is part of the OPSEU Bargaining Unit.


Salary Range:
$ $35.58 per hour
