MD Financial Management, a division of Scotia Wealth Management, has an exciting opportunity for a talented, enthusiastic, and client-focused Trade Representative to join our team.

As a Trade Representative, you will be responsible for the effective facilitation of trade instructions and responding to on-line, telephone and chat inquiries, from current and prospective clients, as well as internal MD representatives Canada-wide.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

Facilitate real time and accurate trading related to mutual funds, equities, and fixed income products
Maintain and monitor outstanding client inquiries and issues, ensuring that established service level standards are met, and appropriate solutions are identified to address administrative errors/problems.
Be accountable for developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of MD products and services, market conditions, interest rates and other financial industry news
You will actively identify and develop opportunities for client retention and lead generation.

The Must Haves:

University degree in business, commerce or equivalent
Frontline experience within a contact center environment preferably in the financial services industry
Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is considered an asset
Bilingual (English/French) is required
