We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our Project Management Office (PMO) within our professional services organization.The PMO Leader will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, optimizing project management processes, and driving operational excellence.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage high-impact projects, and contribute to the overall success of our software solutions.
PMO Leadership:
Lead the PMO team, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure the effective delivery of projects and initiatives.
Project Governance:
Establish and maintain robust project governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to best practices and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Project Portfolio Management:
Oversee the management of the project portfolio, including prioritization, resource allocation, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes and methodologies to drive efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, department heads, and project managers, to ensure alignment on project priorities, objectives, and deliverables.
Risk Management:
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively, implementing strategies to minimize impact and ensure successful project outcomes.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to monitor project progress, track key milestones, and communicate project status to stakeholders effectively.
Resource Management:
Optimize resource utilization across projects, ensuring the right skills are allocated to the right projects at the right time.
Change Management:
Lead change management initiatives related to project management processes, tools, and methodologies, driving adoption and buy-in across the organization.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Proven experience years) in project management leadership roles, preferably within a professional services organization or software company.Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and frameworks (e.g., Demonstrated experience in implementing and optimizing project management processes, tools, and systems.
Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and delivering high-impact projects on time and within budget.PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials are highly desirable.
Experience in the utilities space is an asset
Proficiency in project management software tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Kantata, or similar platforms.
