    Role: IVR Test Engineer (Bilingual)

    Location: BRAMPTON, ON

    Duration: Fulltime

    Job Description:

    We are seeking experienced QA Testers proficient in testing conversational AI-based Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Testing, particularly in the testing of IVR systems, and possess language proficiency in English and French. Experience in call center telephony is highly desirable. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and user experience of our IVR system, with a focus on linguistic accuracy and conversational flow in English and French. Candidate having knowledge on Nuance Mix will have an added advantage.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough testing of conversational AI-based IVR systems to identify defects, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement.
    • Verify the accuracy and functionality of IVR prompts, responses, and call flows in English and French.
    • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and user stories for testing.
    • Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans to validate IVR functionality across different scenarios and use cases.
    • Document and report defects, issues, and test results using appropriate tools and systems.
    • Perform regression testing to ensure that defects are resolved and new features do not introduce unintended consequences.
    • Analyze test results and provide feedback to improve the overall quality and performance of the IVR system.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in conversational AI technology.
    • Assist in the creation and maintenance of test environments and test data sets.
    • Participate in cross-functional meetings, reviews, and post-mortems to share insights and lessons learned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Engineering, Linguistics, or related field.
    • Proven experience in quality assurance/testing, with a focus on IVR systems and conversational AI.
    • Language proficiency in English and French, with the ability to assess linguistic accuracy and fluency.
    • Familiarity with call center telephony systems, protocols, and technologies (e.g., SIP, VoIP) is a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
    • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is desirable.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
    • ISTQB or similar certification in software testing is a plus.
