- Coordinate and manage environmental site assessment projects including Phase I ESA's, Phase II ESA's, risk assessments, and remediation projects.
- Independently conducting site visits and inspections, monitoring and supervising drilling and/or remediation activities, preparing field notes and collecting soil and groundwater samples.
- Maintaining knowledge and familiarity with provincial and federal regulatory frameworks, diligent interpretation of environmental data, the comparison of sample results to applicable standards/guidelines and data QA/QC.
- Preparing detailed and accurate Environmental Site Assessment reports (Phase I and Phase II ESAs), remedial action plans, specification development, and remediation closure reports for senior review.
- Preparing documents relating to the completion of a Record of Site Condition in Ontario.
- 3+ years' experience mainly focused on work in Ontario
- Degree in environmental science, engineering, earth sciences, or related field
- Prior experience with Environmental Field Programs (soil, sediment, ground water, sampling)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with environmental regulatory frameworks.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and writing skills
Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Graduate degree considered an asset
- Eligible for P.Eng. or P.Geo in Ontario
- Experience with Risk Assessment considered an asset

Role description:
Arcadis is growing Arcadis Canada is seeking an Environmental Professional to join our Site Evaluation and Restoration (SER) team in Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Ontario, Canada. This role sits within the Global Resilience Business Area. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative team lead by a Senior Project Manager. The Environmental Professional will assist in the coordination and management of environmental site assessment projects including Phase I ESA's, Phase II ESA's, risk assessments, and remediation projects. Experience dealing with Contaminated Sites, Site Remediation and Monitoring preferred.
