We are currently seeking talented, energetic individuals to join the Transportation team at our Milton location as a Systems Support - Traffic Summer Student.
This is the Role:
This role reports to North America Transportation Supervisor and assists the Transport planners in the movement of goods within our factories Rockwool warehouses, third party warehouses and ultimately to our customer in a timely position is based out of the Milton office for a duration of 4 months (May 2023- August 2023).
Job Duties include but not limited to:
- Respond in a timely fashion to all transportation related queries
- Update system (SAP) with the required information
- Work with internal constituents in a cooperative manner
- Internal communication with customer service department, 3PL, warehouse, dispatchers and shunter when there is disruption in the shipping process
- Strong focus to provide outstanding delivery service while optimizing costs
This is What You Offer:
- Well versed in SAP (preferred)
- Proficient in MS Office programs, specifically Excel and Outlook
- Written & spoken English language to a high professional business level
- Working towards a postsecondary education degree
- Strong problem solver and has attention to detail
- Plans and organizes own day efficiently
- Actively works with carriers and internal departments in a professional manner
