Clinical Educator, Yukon EMS

Working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, the Yukon EMS Clinical Educator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering continuing medical education to Yukon EMS staff including remedial education in specific areas.

The Clinical Educator facilitates scenario based learning opportunities for staff and volunteers including the design and facilitated delivery of the educational components required for the introduction of new equipment, clinical policies, clinical guidelines (etc.).


Essential Qualifications
Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the following qualifications. Please note that selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

  • Successful completion of a critical care program;
  • Valid licensure as a Critical Care or Advanced Care Paramedic, or Registered Nurse;
  • Experience facilitating Heart and Stroke adult education sessions;
  • Experience in educational programming and delivery;
  • Experience facilitating educational instruction;
  • Experience working with various health related stakeholders;
  • Pediatric Neonatal Critical Care Transport (PNCCT), Infant Transport Team (ITT), Neonatal Intensive Care Unite (NICU), or Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) designation is considered and asset.

  • Ability to work with other professionals to exchange work delivery methods
  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills and attention to detail
