Service Technician
We are looking for an experienced
Service Technician for our client located in
Windsor. They are in the dental industry in goods, equipment, services, and technology.


Responsibilities:


  • Independently makes assigned customer calls, diagnosing problems to a module or specific component level.
  • Determines parts, supplies, or tools needed to complete service requests.
  • Ensures that standard response times committed to the Service Coordinator are met.
  • Work with Sales Representatives to present Maintenance Agreements to customers.
  • Follow repair and manufacturer schedules for customers on Service Agreements.
  • Loads, delivers, installs, specs, and trains customers on the use and basic maintenance of equipment sold.
  • Uses, maintains, and secures test devices and tools used to adjust, calibrate, and repair equipment.
  • Coordinates with other sales professionals to demonstrate and sell equipment and technology.
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to discuss equipment and technology solutions based on specific customer needs and emerging trends in the dental industry.
  • Completes all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, BRH forms, inventory, expense reports, and/or purchase card statements or equipmentrelated items).
  • Returns defective modules assemblies or parts to the local office and labels items.
  • Maintains and restocks parts trucks.

Requirements:


  • Valid driver's license and in the order required.
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving skills.
  • Experience in the repair field in a dental/medical environment.
  • Carpentry/plumbing/heating/electricity/electronicsrelated experience required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Location:
Windsor

Shift time: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm (Mon to Fri)


Pay rate:
$30/hr.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
$30.00 per hour


Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Windsor, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- automotive technician: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

  • Driver's License (preferred)
  • Journeyman (preferred)
