Shermco Canada is hiring a Learning & Development Coordinator


LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Shermco Industries, the largest independent electrical testing company in North America, is committed to a culture of continual learning.

This position is full-time working in Shermco's Corporate Academy to help with training program layout, design, research, delivery, and technical writing.

This position will work remotely.


Job Responsibilities and Expectations:


  • Create Content and templates in PowerPoint utilizing master slides, layouts, triggers, etc.
  • Create content utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud and Captivate suites.
  • Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts within various Shermco departments to obtain training scripts and storyboard training content for course creation.
  • Deliver / present information to learners, supervisors, or managers to aid in the overall development and advancement of the workforce.
  • Collect, analyze, and act on feedback provided by the workforce.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Division Director.

Minimum Qualifications:
to qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:

  • Minimum of High School Diploma; associate or bachelor's degree desired.
  • 23 year of related experience successfully performing similar responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of graphics editing and media design.
  • Proficiency with Adobe, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must possess strong writing and verbal skills, including ability to prepare copy for a variety of course descriptions.
  • Must have an outgoing personality and ability to communicate with a variety of people within the organization.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
