  Architectural Draftsperson.

  Responsibilities
• Review Program requirements
• Review all Project constraints
• Prepare preliminary building layouts as directed
• Preparation of Architectural design drawings
• OBC review
• Coordination with all consultant drawings
• Preparation of Architectural working drawings (either independently or as part of a larger team)
• Tender Administration
• Shop drawing review and circulation
• Work under immediate supervision and rely on instructions and preestablished guidelines to perform the function of the job
• Report to the project lead throughout the Project
• Maintain project file to ABA Standards
• Liaise with Site planning and coordinates with Senior Staff on the file
• On occasion, attend site meetings, prepare site reviews and reports, take minutes
• Develop and maintain working relationships with Contractors and Consultants
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering or College Diploma in Construction and Engineering Technology
• Good knowledge of Ontario Building Code, and standard construction practices
• Computer skills in AutoCAD , REVIT 2017, Microsoft Word and Excel, Microsoft Outlook
• Minimum of 35 years' experience producing architectural working drawings for retail, hospitality, multistorey residential and commercial projects

• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills to take direction from multiple Team Leaders and facilitate work flow
• Attention to detail and a strong understanding of construction processes and methods
• Versatility, flexibility and a willingness to work in an environment with constantly changing priorities
