JOB MISSION


Reporting to the Senior Director, Technology, Data and Information Security (TDIS) Risk Monitoring and Reporting, the Director is responsible for monitoring managed risks in the IT, data and information security areas within iA Financial Group.


As such, the Manager is responsible for deploying the TDIS risk monitoring program, comprising a set of tools and processes to prevent, assess and mitigate risks in accordance with the organization's risk appetite and tolerance.


KEY OBJECTIVES

Operationalization of the function of TDIS risk monitoring

  • Monitor risk levels of deployed processes and controls in relation to TDIS risk appetite
  • Ensure monitoring of cybersecurity, technology and data governance activities
  • Conduct an objective review of firstline risk assessments
  • Ensure followup of action plans related to relevant risk events
  • Sit on the IT Risk Committee
  • Help monitor emerging risks for TDIS domains
  • Help monitor risks related to the protection of personal information
  • Actively participate in the implementation of the second line of defence in your area of responsibility
  • Ensure the development of the knowledge and skills required to monitor TDIS risks

Determination of the TDIS risk profile

  • Contribute to the development of the TDIS risk profile and provide the information required to support escalations in the event of tolerance breaches
  • Contribute to TDIS risk reporting
  • Contribute to the development of TDIS risk policies and guidelines
  • Use the TDIS risk and control management framework and help improve it
  • Contribute to the development of iA's risk culture
  • Motivate and encourage the professional development of your resources

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND TECHNICAL ABILITIES

  • Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of TDIS risk management
  • Ability to navigate in a crossfunctional process implementation context
  • Demonstrated analytical, organizational, coordination, time management, teambuilding and problemsolving skills

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Recognized leadership in a control function, such as technology, data and information security governance
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, including 4+ years of progressive experience as a middle manager in one or more regulated financial services organizations
  • Experience in interacting with boards of directors and/or board committees
  • University degree in a related field
  • Knowledge of IT frameworks, including COBIT, NIST, ITIL, COSO and ISO 27000
  • Excellent command of English and French (oral and written) for regular interaction with English
- and French-speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada and the United State
