Responsibilities:


  • Define and maintain the data governance framework in terms of processes, roles, policies, and standards.
  • Support stakeholders in managing metadata and data classification/categorization.
  • Ensure the healthy and secure management of data throughout its lifecycle in compliance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Communicate and ensure the assimilation of the governance framework by business and IT stakeholders.
  • Facilitate prioritization sessions and followup on data initiatives at the restaurant.
  • Train and inform business and IT stakeholders about data issues and governance processes.
  • Ensure that necessary processes are established and adopted.
  • Instill a 'datadriven' culture among various parties using or generating data at the restaurant.
  • Ensure operational excellence by monitoring and proposing continuous improvements to maximize the effectiveness of the governance framework.
  • Produce documentation on governance, its framework, and its processes.

You possess the following professional and technical skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven professional experience in implementing data governance in a multibusiness line context.
  • Indepth understanding of data concepts, including data types, metadata, databases, data modeling, etc.
  • Knowledge of various relevant regulations (such as Law 25, GDPR, etc.) and experience in their governance is a plus.
  • Ability to influence and lead teams in the effective and efficient implementation of data governance best practices.
  • Ability to establish and communicate priorities effectively.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and problemsolving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and Power BI for independent work. Knowledge of SSIS and ADF/Databricks is a bonus.
  • Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams, initiative, and strong organizational skills.
  • Bilingual (French and English) with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
