As an important part of the Individual Customer Wealth Claims Team, you will be primarily responsible for timely clerical and administrative support for the Wealth Claims Department.

This role reports to Nicole Calleja, Associate Manager, Wealth, and Life Claims Support.


What you will do

  • Review and setup new claims for Wealth Claims examiners for Canada Life, London Life and Great West Life systems including PIP, CAP, RPS, SAS, Unitrax, ICS, IB15 and SC0
  • Correctly adding new claim details to the Wealth Claims Database, JIRA, and OnBase to support the Claims digital workflow
  • Ordering client files from the RAM Centre
  • Sorting, reviewing, and matching electronic, post office, servicing offices and courier mail/requirements to digital claim files
  • Reroute mail/documents received to appropriate areas within the company
  • Liaise with other business departments to share client information
  • Returning paid files to the RAM Centre and/or preparing documents for scanning into ONBase and indexing
  • Sorting, matching, and mailing of outgoing Claims cheques
  • Print, distribute weekly followup reports to Claim's files/examiner's
  • Filing pending and paid claim files when needed

What you will bring

  • Knowledge of PIP, CAP, RPS, SAS, Unitrax, ICS, IB15, SC03, Investment Centre and OmniRim would be an asset
  • Knowledge of Outlook, JIRA, OnBase would be an asset
  • Proven organization and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple changing priorities, and fluctuating work volumes to achieve time sensitive deadlines
  • Focus on quality and attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated and ability to learn quickly
  • Effective communication skills to work within a team
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work independently
  • Analytical ability uses acquired knowledge of systems and business to solve challenges
