What your day-to-day will look like:
- Conducting periodic reviews of businesses to reach investment decisions and assisting with the development of risk frameworks for these decisions
- Undertaking financial statement analysis to evaluate the financial health of businesses while effectively communicating findings to key stakeholders
- Advise on process automation, identifying operational efficiencies, and product design
- Performing KYB/KYC checks in accordance with internal AML procedures to flag and identify business risks
- Conducting regular analysis of the Clearco portfolio in order to identify risks and assist with the development of action plans for remediation
- Maintaining expert knowledge of and adherence to Clearco's internal financial underwriting framework, authorization limits and escalation processes
- Tackling problems through a quantitative lens to solve business challenges
You will thrive if you:
- Have graduated from a finance, accounting, economics, commerce or technical program
- Have 24 years of finance, underwriting, compliance, consulting or investment experience
- Have knowledge of financial underwriting, credit analysis, investment operations and/or risk management
- Have sound knowledge of general compliance requirements as they relate to privacy, know your customer and antimoney laundering protocols
- Express an aptitude and willingness to learn how to leverage technical platforms such as CRMs, SQL, compliance, or data visualization tools
- Are detail oriented with strong analytical skills and can leverage the ability to think critically to solve complex problems
- Have excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
- Possess a strong ability to work independently or within a team framework
- Have the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and work in a highperforming and fast paced culture
- Seek to participate in key operational tasks and assist with achieving operational efficiencies throughout the organization
